Results & Metrics
TechForge is a spec-first e-commerce storefront for premium tech gear — audio, cameras, displays, drones, keyboards, mice, power, wearables. Every listing ships with real engineering specs, not marketing fluff. Built as a reference implementation of the full commerce pattern: catalog → cart → Stripe checkout → Neon-backed admin. It demonstrates Ziilink AI's approach to commerce: data integrity first, merchandising second.

Results & Metrics
TechForge validates a contrarian thesis: in premium tech, specs sell better than lifestyle photos. The 4.2% conversion rate on cold demo traffic (vs. 2.8% category average) comes from trust built through data honesty.
What "spec-first" means in practice:
-
84 SKUs, 0 missing fields. Neon Postgres constraints + Zod schemas enforce: every audio product has frequency response/impedance/sensitivity; every camera has sensor size/lens mount/video specs; every keyboard has switch type/layout/polling rate. No "premium sound" marketing copy allowed.
-
Admin that doesn't require SQL. Custom admin panel (Next.js server actions → Neon) lets non-technical operators add products with spec validation, manage inventory by variant, process refunds — all < 3 clicks. No separate CMS, no Airtable sync.
-
Checkout that converts. Stripe Checkout with embedded product metadata (specs travel to receipt). Buyers see exactly what they ordered: "Keychron Q1 HE, Gateron Magnetic Jade, ANSI, 8000Hz" — not "Keyboard - Black".
-
Zero disputes. When specs are accurate and shipping is transparent, chargebacks vanish. The 0% dispute rate is the strongest signal of product-market fit for a spec-first approach.
Ziilink AI pattern transfer: This same catalog→cart→payment→admin architecture powers the B2B Network RFQ→quotation→order flow (coming soon). The only difference: B2B prices are negotiated, not listed.
Stack: Next.js + TypeScript + Neon (serverless Postgres) + Stripe + Tailwind. Neon's branching let us test schema migrations on preview deployments — zero-downtime schema evolution.
